Jacob entered the ballooning world back in 2013 after visiting the Canberra Balloon Spectacular Festival. Inspired by this spectacular event, he enrolled in the Scout’s Ballooning Program, obtained his Balloon Pilot Licence, and the rest is history!
He has since flown in multiple locations around Australia and joined us here at Global as part of our Yarra Valley team in 2022.
Last year, Jacob was part of the Australian Ballooning team that travelled to Europe to take part in competitions across the Czech Republic, Austria and finishing with the World Championships in Slovenia. Co-piloting for Global Pilot Edward Saunders, they flew amongst 110 other balloons and finished 12th overall.
