Steering his own course, Kiff embarked on an adventure, acquiring a Tasmanian ballooning company that grew into Global Ballooning Australia. He’s shared a sunrise with more than 120,000 people in 35 balloons over the course of 30+ years – he transformed his dream into Victoria’s largest ballooning venture.
Kiff’s passion for aviation ignited at just 15 with a gliding license. Following in the footsteps of his aviation pioneer grandfather, Kiff’s journey led him to the world of balloons. Crewing for a ballooning company at a young age ignited his love for the skies, and under the mentorship of World Ballooning Champion Peter Vizzard, Kiff soared to new heights, earning his Commercial Balloon Pilot’s License.

An Australian ballooning legend, Kiff’s journey takes him worldwide, flying over peaks and ranges, even establishing Nepal’s first commercial balloon company! Honoured with a place in the Australian Ballooning Hall of Fame, Kiff’s legacy soars through his children – Paterson, Edward and Scarlett.
